War of the Seal (BETA)

BETA

The War of the Seal is brand new. Its rules, timings and rewards may still change after the first wars - your feedback shapes it.

The War of the Seal is an hour-long fight between guilds for one thing: the Seal. Break it to take it, then hold it - the guild that holds the Seal when the hour ends wins.

When

A GM opens the war - watch the announcements and open /seal.

Signing up

  • The guild master opens /seal and presses SIGN UP - 100 Perin (back if the war doesn't start).
  • The guild needs 5 or more members. Up to 16 guilds can sign up, and at least 2 are needed.
  • Every member of a signed-up guild can fight - no lineup. You need level 190 to enter.

Entering

When the war begins, every online member of a signed-up guild gets a pop-up with ENTER and a short countdown.

  • You can enter from wherever you stand (not from a dungeon). That spot becomes your home.
  • If you fall, you wake up at your home spot a moment later, at full HP - no resurrection needed.
  • You can leave and enter again as often as you like. Entering again sets a new home spot.
  • Missed the pop-up? Open /seal and press ENTER.

The Seal

  • The Seal can take 300 hits. Only normal attacks count - skills do nothing to it.
  • The guild that lands the last hit breaks it and owns the Seal. Every other guild is sent home at once.
  • A new Seal appears right away, shielded for a few seconds. The owners can't hit their own Seal - they defend it.
  • If nobody hits the Seal for a while, it mends itself.
  • The guild holding the Seal when the 60 minutes end wins - even if they took it in the last second.

Rules inside

  • PvP is on between the guilds of the war.
  • No Auto Hunt and no resurrection scrolls.
  • Parties only with your own guild.
  • You fight for one guild per war: leaving your guild sends you home.
  • No PK points and no drops in the war.

The HUD

Inside the war, a HUD shows the clock, who holds the Seal and for how long, the Seal's hits (and its shield), and the latest breaks and kills. Leave takes you home.

The prize

  • SEAL HOLDER - every member of the winning guild shows the title over their name until the next war.
  • Rewards for every fighter of the winning guild, for every other fighter, and for the MVP (the most kills).
  • Rewards go to your bag (or mail if it is full). One reward per player per PC.
