Free PK Time¶
For one hour, Madrigal becomes a battlefield. The staff start Free PK Time - and sometimes it starts by itself, every few hours.
The rules¶
- Who: every player level 60 and up in Madrigal.
- Where: everywhere outside the towns. Towns and safe zones stay peaceful.
- No PK penalty: no karma, no red name, no dropped items. If you fall, you revive in town as usual.
- Party and guild: careful - your party and guild members can hit you too.
- Not here: dungeons, the Colosseum, the Aura Dungeon, the Ascension Dungeon, events and wars keep their own rules.
The bonus¶
While Free PK Time runs, everyone gets:
- Drop Rate x1.5
- Penya x1.5
On your screen¶
A red FREE PK TIME banner flashes at the top of the screen, under the target frame, with:
- the time left (it flashes faster in the last 5 minutes),
- the bonuses,
- your kills and streak,
- PvP On Here or Safe Here, so you always know if you can be attacked.
You get a warning in the chat 10, 5 and 1 minute before the end. When it ends, the top 3 fighters are announced and you see your own kills, deaths and best streak.
Auto Hunting?
During Free PK Time other players can attack you outside the towns - keep an eye on the chat and the banner.
Fair kills
Defeating a character from your own PC or connection doesn't count for the kills or the top 3.
