Race of the Echoes

The Race of the Echoes is the second half of the old Secret Room: a PvE guild race for the West continent. Every guild races in its own copy of the island - you never meet the other guilds - and everyone starts at the same second. The fastest guild wins.

When

Weekdays at 11:00 and 21:00, the Saturday final at 21:30 (server time). Open the Secret Room (/secretroom) to sign up and enter.

Signing up

Like the Siege: the guild leader signs up in the Secret Room (or /race) - 10,000 Myrthal Gold on weekdays, 50,000 on Saturday, back if it doesn't start - and lines up 5 to 15 members of level 190.

The four stages

  1. The Shore - monster packs wait around the outer ring of the island. Defeat them all (splitting up is faster).
  2. The Bridges - a Bridge Warden guards each of the four bridges over the inner water. Defeat all four, in any order.
  3. The Tide - hold the centre circle with at least 3 members for 60 seconds while waves of monsters come in. With fewer than 3 inside, the clock pauses. A ring on the ground shows the circle.
  4. The Echo Warden - the final boss rises in the centre. Its death is your guild's finish time.

If you fall, you get up at the start of your copy after 10 seconds - the walk back is the penalty. The race lasts up to 45 minutes; guilds that don't finish are placed by the stage they reached and how far they got.

The live board

A board on your screen shows every guild: its four stage marks, where it is now (Shore 31/42, Bridges 3/4, Tide 41/60 s, Warden 63%) and the finish times.

The prize

The fastest guild of the Saturday final (it must finish) becomes the Tide Wardens and holds the West continent (Darkon, Harmonin, Kaillun, Bahara) for the week. Weekday runs give the item rewards only - see The Secret Room.

  • TIDE WARDEN over every member's name.
  • +10% EXP for the whole guild.
  • Saturday's pot - 60% / 25% / 15% for the top 3 guilds, into the racers' Earnings Box, plus 100 Donate Points, 50 Rarity Scrolls and 20 Colosseum Tickets for each winner.
  • Rewards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, every other guild and the MVP.

The Hall of Champions tab in /race shows the holder, Saturday's pot and the last ten winners.
