Farmer's Hub & Offline Farming¶
Press Ctrl+F (or Control Center > Tools > Farmer's Hub) to see every character you have online on this PC in one window - and to keep some of them farming while you are away.
The Hub¶
- Totals on top: Penya and Red Chips per hour of all your farmers together, what they earned, how many are online and offline.
- Slots of each Farming Grounds: how many of your characters farm there, for this PC and for this connection.
- One card per character: where it is, Auto Hunt on or off, Penya / Red Chips per hour, kills, the time left of its stay, free bag slots and potions, and a status: Farming, Idle, Stuck? (no kill for a while), Dead, Bag Full, Offline, Disconnected.
- Filters: All, Online, Offline, Needs Help.
- Click a character for its details and buttons: Send to Grounds, Start / Stop / Restart Auto Hunt, Return to Town, Show Window, Farmer Mode On / Off, Go Offline Farming, Log Out.
Only characters of this PC show in your Hub, and every button is checked by the server.
Add Alt¶
+ Add Alt lists the accounts saved on your login screen (tick Save Account when you log in) and their characters. Click one and a second game window opens and logs in by itself.
- A character's name shows once that account has logged in on this PC; before that you can open a slot.
- An account that already has a character online can't open another one (it would kick it).
- Open in Farmer Mode: the new window starts small (800 x 600) and light (see below).
- Send to its last Grounds + start Auto Hunt: the alt walks straight back to the Grounds it farmed last.
Send to Grounds¶
Pick Penya Grounds or Red Chip Grounds, the field and a channel - or Join Quietest. The farmer pays its own entry (a Farming Grounds Ticket first, else the fee). Send All to Grounds sends every online character that is not farming yet and spreads them over the quietest channels.
Auto Hunt the first time
The Hub starts Auto Hunt with each character's own saved settings. A character that never used Auto Hunt opens the Auto Hunt window instead: set it up once (monsters, skills, potions) and press Start - from then on the Hub does it for you.
Farmer Mode¶
A light game window for your alts: the picture is drawn only 10 times a second (your character still moves and fights at full speed), no sound, other players, effects and damage numbers hidden, and the window title shows the name and the earnings per hour (handy on the taskbar). Ctrl+Shift+N switches it on and off, or use the Hub buttons. Your normal settings are never changed.
Alerts¶
The Hub tells you when one of your farmers died, looks stuck, has a full bag, runs low on potions, disconnected, or when its stay / offline time ends in 10 minutes - a message on the right of the screen, a chat line and the taskbar blinks. Alerts in the Hub turns each one on or off (and a sound).
Offline Farming¶
Your farmer can log out and keep earning for up to 6 hours on the Penya Grounds or the Red Chip Grounds.
- Farm on the Grounds for 15 minutes first - the Hub shows Calibrating 9 / 15 min. This measures how fast you kill.
- Click Go Offline Farming: the window shows what you make now, what offline pays per hour and in 6 hours.
- Log Out and Farm - the character logs out and a statue of it stands at the start of its channel with the time left.
-
Log the character in again (any time) and the While You Were Away window shows what it earned. It goes into your bag / Material Manager (what does not fit: your mail).
-
Offline pays half of your plain rate: it counts your kills only, not buffs or events, and every field has a most per hour.
- Only Penya or Red Chips - no EXP, Pass XP, boards or quests.
- After 6 hours it stops. Logging in earlier ends it and pays for the time so far.
Echoes Farmer Box¶
An app next to the game (Farmer Box in the launcher) that holds all your farmer windows:
- Live pictures of every game in a grid (or Focus: one big + a strip, or a List). The border shows the status: green farming, orange stuck, red dead, gold bag full, purple offline, grey crashed / disconnected.
- Play brings that game to the front. ... has the Hub's buttons (Restart Hunt, Return to Town, Farmer Mode, Go Offline Farming, Log Out).
- The games behind the Box draw 1 picture a second and are muted - they still play at full speed. The one in front is normal.
- Farm Profiles (Open Profile > Edit Profiles): saved accounts + character + Grounds / field / channel + Auto Hunt. Opening one logs them in 5 seconds apart and sends each to its Grounds.
- Crash watch: a crashed game gets Relaunch; a disconnected one Reconnect now (or by itself after 30 s, 3 tries, if you turn it on in Settings).
- After a server restart every farmer comes back by itself: logged in again (5 s apart), back to its Grounds with Auto Hunt (the entry is paid again). The Box keeps trying for up to 45 minutes. Turn it off in Settings if you want.
- Arrange (top bar): Cascade fans the game windows out with every title bar showing; Stack puts them all in the middle of the screen - flip through them with the arrows in the Box or Ctrl+Shift+Tab / Ctrl+Shift+` (next / previous, from any window). Put Back returns each window to its own place. Pick the size, the screen and which games in the same menu.
- No taskbar clutter: the games the Box opens have no taskbar button (use Play, or Alt+Tab). The buttons come back when the Box closes. Settings: turn it off, or also hide the games you started yourself.
- After a patch the Box updates the game first (a banner shows the download), then opens the farmers. If the update can't finish, the farmers wait: press Try Again or Open Launcher.
- Alerts come as Windows notifications; closing the Box keeps it in the tray and the games keep running.
- The Box never sees a password (the game reads its own saved logins) and never plays for you: no keys or clicks are sent to the games.
Limits¶
On each Farming Grounds (Penya and Red Chips separately), counted for your PC and for your connection (IP):
| Most | |
|---|---|
| Characters farming online | 15 |
| Offline farmers | 5 |
| Total | 20 |
The Hub shows how many you use. The Echo Grounds keep their own daily time and are not part of this.
