Awakening & Rarity¶
Two ways to make any piece of equipment stronger. Both are in the Control Center > Utility.
Awakening¶
An Awakening Scroll gives an item 3 random stat lines. The scroll's tier decides how high the values can go.
Every line rolls one of: STR, STA, DEX, INT, Max HP %, Attack %, Magic Attack %, PvE Damage % or Critical Damage %. The same stat can come on more than one line. Within a range, high values are rarer than low ones.

Reroll Scrolls
A Reroll Scroll of the same tier gives one line you choose a new random stat and value. The other lines stay.
- The Starter Awakening Scroll is sold in the Red Perin shop, and works great on the Novice Echo Set.
- Awakening and Reroll Scroll boxes exist for every tier.
- Every awake try counts on the Most Awakes weekly board.
Rarity¶
A rarity multiplies an item's base attack / defense, its own bonus stats and its set effects. It never touches awakes, +upgrades, piercing, runes or crystals. Any piece of equipment that doesn't stack can have one.
One Rarity Scroll works for every level. A failure only uses up the scroll; the level never drops.

- A set effect uses the lowest rarity among the worn pieces of the set.
- Every item shows its rarity as a coloured, animated edge on its icon (Echoes Hub > Display can make it static or turn it off).
- Reaching Anthem (8) or higher is announced to the whole server.
- The Rarity Transfer Scroll moves a rarity to another item: the new item gets the old one's level minus 1.
- Auto keeps trying for you (faster with VIP).
- Rarity Scroll boxes (10 up to 1000) and Chance Boxes exist; the box preview shows every chance.
